Ptolemeikoi Peltastai Phalangitai (Peltast Pikemen) A phalanx of elite pikemen armed with shorter pikes than most phalangites and tasked with more versatile battle roles, these men are chosen to serve in the prime of their lives. Ptolemikoi Kleruchoi Drapanai (Thracian Cleruch Falxmen) Settled on colony lands in exchange for their services, these Thracians are armed with one-handed sicas and falxes. For weapons, they carry spears and a javelin. The Uazali carry a solid rectangular shield and wear a solid Phrygian helm. Their name comes from the Lykian tongue, meaning Warriors, and is similar also to the words used by the other peoples along the southern coast of Asia Minor, whose languages all derive primarily from the Hittite tongue. These Uazali are skilled mountain fighters.
